COMSEC          
                     It is the day where we talked about security issues. I listened eagerly to understand the lessons being taught by our teacher.

               

INFOSEC

           We created powerpoint about physical security. My group worked hard to create a ppt to be passed on a later date.

Learning log #5

COMSEC          
                     Me and my group stick together as a team and listened to the discussion about security. It is also the college week and we are all excited. There is a meeting where sir Justin Pineda was not feeling well so that day we do not have a class for both infosec and comsec.

INFOSEC

              We picked a program that also called as the DPL and it is represented by my group as the research sample. We where so scared we may not pass because this kind of project is cursed by the past students in the infosec. Learning log #4

COMSEC          
                     I feel bad for being absent for this subject. I was at a band rehearsal last night and I did not quite to get some sleep so I over slept. But my group told me to pass some handouts and I did them,

               

INFOSEC

           We discussed about some major points of security issues that are present in the system. I was late as always and attended the class medjo shy hahahaha. While listening I was quite distracted because I was thinking of my other exercises in my another subject that are due later after infosec. Even thou I was at the back of the classroom I listened well just to understand the lessons.

02/24/17

Comsec

I was absent this time in Comsec because I did our infosec defense and I really regreted it because my reason is inexcusable and invalid. I asked my friends about their discussion today and it is about different topics about computer security.

Infosec

This day was our defense day in infosec. We did our best in completing our research project. I was late because it is very traffic along the northbound area from the south. I was finalizing our research works that make me a bit late on our presentation. I was very nervous about the defense because some of the other groups have beautiful presentation compared to us. Sir Justine pointed out different mistakes and holes in regards to our research works. I felt a bit motivated when we were given an another chance in revising our research paper.

COMSEC          
                     
       Our professor was absent this time and ms. Evangeline was the one who looked after the class. She told us that we have plenty of seatworks just to stop us from playing games and fooling around. Our seatwork was about google hacking and as a group we did our best to finish them.




INFOSEC

   We did also our seatwork this time and it is about government laws and anti government activist. Our group was picked for the topic about privacy siding to the anti government people. This seatwork was due later this evening and to be debated on friday.

       We discussed about security and new slides this time. We and our group are finishing our research works later at night.





INFOSEC

   We Discussed about security laws and it's use. Many of the laws discussed was very important for our country. Cyberlaws are just created shortly after the "I love you virus" incident.

                  Sir Jayvee was the substitute teacher in this time.

          Some of the class did not answered the certification so that Doc Manny told us that we are dismissed.

Sir Justin is out of the country and Ms. Evangeline told us about the seatwork and we worked and finished it by group.

         Ms Evangeline told us to answer the certification exam which is was passed at a fair grade.

      On our 4th meeting in COMSEC we discussed about some topology and what will happen if someone poisoned them. We also discussed some things that are related to security and what are some vulnerabilities may happen inside the network. I learned that there is also a way to know what port that are considered to be normal or safe and there are port that can prove that you can be hacked.





INFOSEC

   This was our 4th meeting here in INFOSEC we first started off with an group report by the two groups who did their activity last time. While they are reporting I listened and tried to create new possibilities based on their answers.

       I was absent this day because of allegic rhinitis going in my system. I was also not feeling well this time that is why I decided to take a rest. I might be a bother in the class for sleeping because of my given condition

   While I was home resting My groupmates sent a message about an situation which appears to be a group work. I answered the problem that was assigned to me. After that I sleep and rest

                  I arrived early this time but doc manny told us that he need to stand as a dubstitute teacher because our professor was not present this time. We answered an essay about Yahoo's security issues. I was grouped with someone who is not familiar and we did our best in doing some researching about stuffs regarding to yahoo's incident.

          After answering the activity given in our comsec we anwered an activity about what we discussed last time in info sec we just learned that we need to listen carefully in what our prof was discussing to finish the activities easier. After doing it we just got dismissed by our substitute professor.

                    It was our first day at comsec I got fristrated because I was do late. I want to apologize to my professor for being tardy in his first class. I arrived in Magallanes at exactly 9:15 am. I was unable to go to class because of my tardiness and I promise myself that I will change for the good.





INFOSEC

           It was my first day at this class eventhou it is our second subject I entered early in this class skipping my first subject because of tardiness. I was surprised that when I asked my friends regarding the about the professor that is handling comsec they replied with excitement and told me that he was a great and cool prof. I also learned that he is also our prof here in infosec. We just tackled a lecture about the basic security issues
